An amazing day for our Year 8 students in Palmerston North. Key Note speakers included Billy Graham ( NZ Boxer), Brylee Mills ( car accident victim, amputee and professional dancer), Marina Alefosio ( “Spoken Word” Poet) and musician Avalanche City. Inspirational messages included: “Everyone’s got talent – most people never go looking for it.” “The easy thing to do isn’t always right. and the right thing to do isn’t always easy.” “NYLD exists to inspire and influence a generation of young people to lead themselves and others well.” “What is the most important thing in the world? It is people, it is people, it is people.”
