On Friday 3rd of November, five year five students were lucky enough to spend an activity day at Bushy Park with students from other schools in the district. The students were supervised by Mrs McMenamin and Mrs Mocha. They moved around various activity stations where they were able to investigate the flora and fauna in the area. A favourite spot was the “Wetlands” area where they found heaps of water boatmen. Hunting for invertebrates was also exciting, for those who like spiders. Before coming home they got to make enormous bubbles which were very fragile, just like our planet earth that we need to take care of.
